Anantya... beyond any boundary...
Seas… however different in colour and consistancy,
have no beginning and no end.. they are all connected
and connect the
world!
Although forms are easily recognisable, my paintings are not about a
specific time or place, but about the sensation of being there.
Recently at Isha Yoga centre, I experienced countless buttercup yellow
butterflies on a rock, suddenly and simultaneously burst into flight! I
shared this magical sight, which passed within moments, with an equally
mesmorised little girl as well as the rest of our group.
We were connected for those moments, sprinkled with spontaneous
delight and awe. Soon we moved on, to our own different worlds, but
somewhere within, those moments are eternal.. anantya..
Antione de Saint – Exupery says in his book, The Little Prince, “One sees
clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eye.” So
true! While a sight, sound, smell, touch is transitory, ‘anything essensial’
is beyond time, space... and words! This is what is boundless...
My journey with Sadhguru to Mount Kailash and Lake Manansarovar is an
eternal inspiration. I was reminded that within nature’s ups and downs,
excitement and peace.. harmony does exist.
Anantya is my attempt to share these experiences.. which are beyond any
boundary...
